Rachel Raise, Landscape Architect
I learned the power that outdoor spaces hold at a young age. Growing up, our backyard was a sacred space. It was where we gathered, where we grew, where we played, and where we went to recharge.
As a designer I have been fortunate to work on projects of all scale, both in the private and public sector, but my heart has always been in residential design. I enjoy getting to work closely with my clients and helping to create their dream outdoor space while also teaching about the benefits of native plants and pollinators. A large part of my mission with Raise Design is to make landscape architecture approachable; everyone deserves outdoor spaces and I take pride in working with different budgets and scales of projects, and having education play a large role in my design approach.
I find nothing truer than the notion that to plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow, and I am honored to help this become a reality for my clients.
